The
tablet computer is essentially a small electronic notebook that you can
write on and also enter data using voice commands. The tablet computer
measures about 9 by 11 inches and is 1 inch thick - it weighs roughly
the same as an average textbook. The
stylus allows you to enter data and navigate through the system on the
screen, even write script into text fields, (which the computer changes
to text). An integrated keyboard is standard, if you ever feel the
need to type.
Now you can plan inspections,
uploading all required information into your tablet. While conducting
the inspection, you can make notes as you go, by typing writing or voice
recognition software. With FirePro2 Inspections and Fire Code
installed you can consult the searchable code as necessary. Once
you've completed your inspection, you can print a hard copy before leaving
the client's premises.
Once you get back to your office
you can easily download your inspection notes to your desk computer.
FirePro2 Remote Inspections automatically updates your FP2 database, attaching
the inspection to the property file. FirePro2 then sets reminders for
re-inspection, if required, or sets the date for your next inspection
in a year's time. As you can see the current process of report writing,
referring, mailing/communicating, and filing is all automated, allowing
you to be more productive.
Now with FirePro2 Tablet Computers
have become timesaving equipment for any fire inspector!
FirePro
2 has simplified all phases of Fire Department Recordings and Reporting.
Before buying FirePro seven years ago we experienced paper overload
and had a hard time finding the information we needed on the spot. Now
we get the information we need immediately. We can also put together
reports in a fraction of the time it used to take. Payroll used to take
3 days and now it takes us 18 minutes.
