Inspection ChecklistsNow you can create customized checklists for each property type you inspect, and even for each specific property. This allows different inspectors to be consistant in their inspections, and allows consistancy from one inspection to the next. Checklists can be printed and taken with you, and the data easily entered once you are back at your desk. FirePro2 Inspections ModuleThe tool for the modern FPO. Our Inspections Module keeps you organized and on-track and lets you store and retrieve all of your inspection information associated with any property. You can also schedule periodic inspections, run a report of inspections due to be done, and review past inspections. Photographs, sketches, and schematics can be scanned and attached to the inspection for future reference. Using the optional electronic version of the Fire Code, FirePro2 will help you write your Inspection Reports. You can search the code, or simply enter a reference number and FirePro2 will fill in the required legalese text on your report. Then you can suggest remedial actions that the property owner can take - to bring the property into conformity with the code. Remedial actions can be associated for a specific violation and can be pre-written in easily understandable language, stored, retrieved, and edited for specific instances. Greater efficiency allows you to more easily create a report for common violations. It’s simple. Reports that may take you an hour (or more) can now be competed and sent via email in just a few minutes. You are more productive, so you can choose to conduct more inspections, or get on with other important aspects of your job. Remote InspectionsFirePro2 Remote module allows FPOs to take FirePro2 with them into the field. This extra module, allows you the full power and efficiency of using a notebook or tablet computer to prepare your inspections in the client's building. You can leave them an instant signed copy of the inspection too, if you have a portable printer. Once you return to your office you will need to syncronize your remote inspections with FP2 to keep the data base clean and up-to-date. Then take the opportunity to load next week's inspections into your notebook so you're ready to go.
Smoke AlarmsThe Smoke Alarm section of the Inspections window lists all smoke alarm inspections on a property recorded in date-order. The main purpose of the smoke alarm module is to track statistics about smoke alarms for your area. Each record entered represents the current fire readiness or awareness of the property as of a specific inspection date. You can enter information on all the present smoke alarms, fire plans, and use of candles or anything else you would like to track.
